Meet Daphne!
For over a decade, I’ve dedicated my career to working in social services, focusing on children and families that have experienced trauma. One key insight became undeniable: the foundation for breaking generational trauma lies in healing the individual. I repeatedly saw children yearning to connect with their parents, only to face barriers rooted in their parents' unresolved trauma. It became clear that while children are often the focus, true transformation begins when adults heal themselves.
My name is Daphne Choute, a licensed mental health therapist in Florida and the founder of Paved Counseling Services. I created Paved to help adults understand how their own history of trauma impacts not only themselves but also their ability to connect with loved ones. Through this work, I realized the importance of laying a strong emotional foundation as the first step in breaking generational cycles of pain.
By working with individuals, I believe we can bring about change not just for one person, but for future generations. My goal is to help you increase your emotional intelligence, navigate life's challenges, and gain a deeper understanding of who you are, so you can build healthier relationships and create a lasting legacy of healing.
